A beautiful Island to enjoy Here Morganmike needs help to get this booked quickly, that and a test drive of a Plus Four - job done  Tregarthen's Hotel is the place you need to treat her to. Evenings in the Mermaid on the quay for eats and ales (wine available) and great local company.

Wonderful place Scilly.
Tregarthen’s used to be very good but has changed according to friends who stayed there this year. Star Castle is awesome but is now a lot more expensive than when we stayed there 12 or so years ago.
We always try for self catering but that can be difficult to get on Scilly as so many people book year to year and most properties give first preference to the people in residence for the same week next year.
There are some wonderful B&B places - we stayed in one a couple of years ago.
Do your research and aim for somewhere within easy walking of the quay on St Mary’s so that the off Island boat trips are accesssible,

Remember flying out to St. Mary's with another syndicate owner in our Cessna 172 early 80's. We took the ferry over to Tresco walking around the beautiful gardens. Just electric vehicles as I recall. Ironically I later bought a new home at Port Solent on the artificial Bryher Island named after same in the Scillies.

Had a timeshare on Tresco for many years and the 1st year we were there we watched Live Aid, been back to St Mary’s a couple of times since we sold it and must be time for another visit.
