I ordered a mohair tonneau cover and we received a mishmash of hardware:

Assuming all Lift the Dots are the small ones shown in the first photo, we appear to be missing four. Not sure what the larger posts shown in the second photo belong to.

Finally, the manual shows a center piece for the tonneau, one meant for a vehicle with windscreens (mine) or sans windscreens. I gather these snap over the center of the tonneau once fitted to secure it further?

I suspect the "spikes" used to secure our tonneaus were seen as safety hazards precluding type approval - making them an aftermarket option perhaps gets round the problem as well as providing "extra" income....

Thanks all, I'll get some extras, just to be sure. The shop- which is owned in part by a guy I didn't know I knew (if that's not confusing- we were part of another chat group years ago for those little red cars from Modena but at the time I started doing business with the facility here in Austin I didn't know that) is very meticulous, they handle a huge number of different cars, and maintain them, from brass era to stuff raced at the local F1 track here by privateers (and he's a M3W owner- the previous V Twin, to boot).

It was for the M3W as well - £205 for PVC or £335 for mohair for a 2021 car...

I naively thought that the vinyl one would be standard equipment with the double-duck being a paid-for option. After all, it's hard to imagine using the car without a tonneau.
