70th Anniversary Year.

It is the oldest and largest steam engine rally in Cornwall.

When I lived near the New Forest I recall the rally at Sturminster Marshall being the largest in our area. Sad to say it's been cancelled this year due to financial pressures. At least we have the one at Henham in Suffolk late September to look forward to still.

We still have the annual Netley Marsh steam rally on the edge of the New Forest (to the east of Lyndhurst)

Seems there was a very unfortunate event at what is described as a vintage car show near Tewksbury where a man lost his life in a incident involving a tractor...
