NO bids as yet..... Very strange. It's pretty ordinary with an 1.8 power unit as well. I'm not surprised it's unsold. I know it may lack the kick of the V6s or the 8, but I drove an SLK with this 1.8 Turbo and thought it performed pretty well I love the folding roof and air scarf...... I suspect this V8 SLK will get more interest, particularly in the U.S. market 2014-mercedes-benz-slk55-amg

To my mind 1957 was the 'sweet-spot' year for post-war American vehicle design ... some great looking cars carrying famous names .... those names so often got exploited for marketing dull and lardy successors down the line ... Thunderbird being a prime example .... went from the lithe and good-looking youth of '57 to overweight and ugly middle-age! 😆

K I tend to agree Image. However, I am a big fan of the 30's Hard to go past the lines of the 1936 Mercedes-Benz 540K, the Auburn Boat Tail Speedster of the same year or the Duesenberg "J"
