In the uk prices for all "classic cars " are down. We have a lady called Rachel who has taxed and eroded confidence but also I think things were over priced . I sold my Brooklands for mid 40s to buy my 22 p4 for 57k.
A year on the Roadster is realistically worth mid 30s but of course no one is buying.
There are some great deals right now in the UK

On the European mainland, very few people want an RHD vehicle. This severely limits the market for British vehicles, regardless of the brand.
I don't see prices for Morgans falling in Germany either. In any case, they are no longer rising as they did in the past.

Agreed, COULD be a bargain?
However, the 'write-off' marker' is killing the car. I would be surprised if it made £40k, as the type of person buying a used Plus Six is going to be fussy/fickle/picky and thus wants a pucker car!
Honesty means doing it right, even when no one is looking!

You’d need to check the insurance quote. A N/S writeoff is not the same as the other categories, and may not be perceived as such. If you want a pukka car then that’s the gamble.
