Silverstone Morgan have a Supersport at their stand. Stone leather with a lovely bluey/greeny grey. I wish MMC chose better colours for their press cars.

Seeing the car in the flesh has changed my mind about it. The cabin feels very high quality and spacious. I feel very relaxed as soon as I sat in it. I'd still want a trad, but this is now on my 50th Birthday present list (in 7 yrs time!).

I Absolutely hated the car from the press photos....but....... it does look much better in the flesh AND in a different colour.....!
The hard top is still horrendous though....!!!!!

Stick with a trad........as much fun......a fraction of the cost..... minimal depreciation...........!!!!😆

It seems logical that the MMC has to move with the times, and the most complex aspect of that seems likely to be conforming to regulatory changes, as opposed to continuing to produce a machine with eye catching classic lines that can still fit in with ever evolving customer expectations...?

Perhaps if one compared say a mid 80`s Trad +8, to the 3.2 Porsche of the same era, and used those to compare the Supersport to the complexity of the latest Porsche 911 derivative, perhaps the MMC may well be making a grand job of maintaining pace with the evolutionary pressures and customer expectations....?

Other than that, I suspect the country like many others is in a state of financial flux combined with the effects of the ageing process and changing priorities of the baby boomer generation...

Perhaps best to enjoy what you can and while you can.. Your choice..? (-:

It seemed logical after WW2. Hasn't Morgan only survived this long by defying logic?

We were at MMC last Wednesday for a squeezed in small warranty job before my Scotland trip. Thanks to reschedule to fit me in. Back in October for pillar paint bubble repaint. While there we saw two Supersports Hardtop and softtop.

In those colours I preferred the softtop. I don't think that " gold" colour with matching hardtop works. Maybe a contrasting colour hardtop would work with some colours but not all.
These were the first Supersports I have seen in the flesh. I do like them but am extremely unlikely to buy one (££££). Also very happy with the Plus Four. There was a metallic green / black interior one in the showroom ( oops no photo!) that looked stunning.
Back up there late October for a small paint bubble job so will explore more.
There were good numbers for tours there plus many people using the cafe. It appears locals pop in there, dog friendly too. As usual no " bargains" in the shop! I might start a crowdfund......

THE MAIN REASON THAT MORGAN HAS SURVIVED FOR SO LONG IS THEY DIDN'T MOVE WITH THE TIMES............!!!!!!!!!!🤷🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️😁
They totally defied logic..........!!!!!

They continued to build a car that was obsolete 65 years ago.....and that's why people continued to buy them!!!!!!!!!!
They seem now to have forgotten this and want to compete with real car manufacturers with huge budgets and proper factories........ WHY......!

It won't end well.......imho.......!🤷🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️
