It has been a long held belief (going back to the 70s) that Russia will be the dominate force in Europe, China the dominant force in Asia with the USA marginalized and dominant in the Americas. With Russia and China coming together as the military presence that would enforce the new order. The sticking point back in the 90s and still today is what is happening outside of the public spectacle, China had and still does have major internal issues to deal with as does Russia. To be the New World Order you have to have stability within your economy and society, this is what Xi is striving to achieve by uniting his people with a show of strength and patriotism the question is whether it works and how sustainable is it. For all our woes in the West we still have stable economies and societies although certainly being challenged and strained, I suppose the question is which side will you choose?

I travel extensively each year. The Chinese are everywhere I visit. They have infrastructure projects in over 150 countries, 75% of the world. All being built by Chinese labour with Chinese raw materials
Seen recently:
- the hydro electric plant and dam they are building in N.Pakistan - largest ever to be constructed
- new road over 550 kms linking Azerbaijan, to Georgia, Armenia & Iran - astonishing engineering
- new bridge over the Demerara River in Guyana
- new naval base at Riem and jungle airstrips for military aircraft in Cambodia

Think it was Clinton who made China, America`s favourite nation, and the rest of the West followed on in the blind rush to make profit by off-shoring jobs, which anyone with eyes could see was just bound in time to make China that which it is today....?

For sure GREED IS GOOD if you seem likely to loose your grip on the perch before the new world order comes to pass, and living in a gated community may not be protection enough, or perhaps even living on the moon... Whatever...!

It's a strange old world, whilst one can see the dawning reality of a New World order, one can also see its potential to become its own downfall. Forever China eyes other bordering countries lands ,eg Russia now fear annexation by China of parts of its eastern provinces including the port city of Vladivostok, and beyond....................might see more than a slight falling out over such Chinese aspirations. Same with India and Chinese border disputes that have lead to aggression between them in the past.

I can see China using it's alliances to achieve greater world domination, before it in turns on them and the fallout amongst the megalomaniacs may have serious consequences throughout Asia and beyond.
