Welcome to TM. I look forward to your journey towards the right car for you.
As others have typed, you need to try a few. Sooner or later, the right car will find you.

Welcome to TM Francis. If I read everything well, then maybe a modern PlusFour with auto-box will tick most boxes for both of you! One with the Nitron upgrade all around is very much recommendable! Then also your rear suspension is smooth as well as very well damped.

Welcome to TM

If you like maintaining your own cars, bear in mind that a Classic Morgan is much more accessible to the home mechanic than the newer CX models which are very electronic systems reliant

When I viisted the factory in 2021 and saw one under construction, I knew I wouldn't be able to work on a CX, all that spaghetti defeated me

Very nice 911, and good luck with your Morgan search

Sorry for my late reply, I didn't set any alerts or anything.
Tank you for your answers !
It's true that I like to take care of my cars, and a rather painful experience with my wife's 2001 Mercedes CL600 W215 put me off ‘modern’ cars... In short, I have my doubts, so yes, I need to try a Morgan. I might look at a 3.7 L, but I don't know how reliable that model is. In the meantime, I'll do some research.

Good luck with your choosing process, enjoy that time as it is well spent.

You won't regret the change or the nice people you get to meet in one, it changes your life totally and peoples reactions are the antithesis of a 911 ownership - people let you out of side roads and want to talk about your car as they are classless.

Enjoy your time here, there is a wealth of knowledge on just about everything if you invest some time searching (google) works best..

p.s. Melvyn Rutter has this in stock LHD. if you fancy a bargain and a little work.
