Not specifically related to this, or any other. Aero, but very surprised that this didn't go higher. I'm very happy with my P6, but had I been coming in fresh to a Morgan experience, then this would likely have been on my radar. Aero 8 Series 4

Reserve not met, bidders expecting a bargain due to current climate, nice car!. A lot of uncertainty due to Rachel Thieves forthcoming budget and the probable resignation of Kwier Starmer around Christmas or following the May 2026 elections.

The Hagerty Price guide shows a ‘good condition’ car at £45,800. Not too far off the auction price plus auction commission.

Will If I am not mistaken, he had it advertised as "Buy one get one free" at one stage, which seemed rather strange. I believe that was when he had both his S5 and the 2009. The 2009 is now back up on Car & Classic as a 2017 in the main title... https://www.carandclassic.com/l/C1919880Add to that, it is being described as "Morgan Aero 8 Series 1V Centenary Edition 1909-2009 (one of about 35 special models only produced that year)", which I wasn't aware was even an "edition"; however, perhaps the owner means it was produced in 2009, which was the centenary year for Morgan. I see the GT3 that the factory used to have is on the market, in the current climate surely that could be a bargain for someone here who wishes to run in the Peter Auto series.....and what a sound . I hadnt realised how much the Aero pricing had sagged till I looked over the For Sale pages in UK.

They've now freshened up the car with larger black wheels & colour-matching the hardtop - I'd kept it bare carbon. Will
