If it has an insurance category write off against the vehicle it should be in the add, but if say you replaced a bent wing & wheel from a low speed crash that doesn't need to be reported unless you are asked outright.

Trade sellers are obliged to state that a vehicle has been a write off. Private sellers have no such obligation.

True isn't it written on the V5 which surely any private buyer would want to see?

It's always advisable to do your own search; written off, finance obligations, etc.

A quick google shows that Cat S is recorded on the V5 but Cat N isn't.

Got some images from the vendor. There was damage to the front o/s wing, but no indication that this has been replaced.

Items from Morgan, including "Rev A Assy Upright Front RH Wide Body", the same for LH, and a "wide back panel assembly (6 holes for spare wheel cover), rear diffuser welded assy, rear indicator lamp and lamp plinth, some bits and pieces from BH Morgan, wheel alignment invoice and an invoice for "morgan repair £1,600" from ARS Ltd in Leicester.

All seems pretty minor stuff to result in being written off.

Nothing regarding the rear wings. I'd suggest they are original, were bent out of shape in a rear end shunt, and haven't been replaced.

How longer you look, the more you see that isn't right. Also the front valance doesn't fit properly, you see the "weld" between the wide back panel assembly and the body shell behind the doors. It almost seems as new rear wings were paced, but they doesn't fit. Strange! You have to know the whole story!

Like I say, when you study the images, this Plus Six IS going to be very hard to shift?

I reckon once the price drops into the mid to high £20s it will be a reasonably attractive purchase for someone who's happy to bash a few panels about and not too fussy about the 'finish'.

Would be an awesome car for that price.

The way parts prices are going at £20k-ish it will make a good donor car for spares without too much of a fight.
