Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

Update: the system doesn't allow me to export a members posts; however, I've reached out to people far more technically capable than myself, and there may be a way to extract John's post using more technical means.
I've sent an appeal for assistance to one of the UBB team and I do hope they can help. If not, I'll be going the 'old school' route of review and then 'cut-copy-paste' each one of Jack the Lad's posts into a document!
Fingers crossed!

All 8, 015 of them! Good luck Simon. My plan was to start with the circa 720 topics he started because those tended to be the ones where he left his anecdotes, stories and stronger opinions; however, you are correct, 8,015 is daunting!

So sorry to learn this. John was always very helpful. I once posted a query on MogTalk about our 1985 4/4 and he telephoned me and offered help and advice. He also bought sone CVH spares from me when I sold the car. A true gent.

So sorry to hear this. His posts were always fun and worth looking forward to. It's very hard to watch dementia taking over a loved one and I do hope that you can get his stories together. Stay strong June, we're all thinking of you.

So sad to read this. I was only thinking about him the other day, when I watched some rowers racing along the Thames and I thought of your daughter.
John and I exchanged quite a few message over the years. He is a great loss to us all.
