I have been told in 1to1 conversations, that EVs are not allowed in certain secured environments now, but I don't know whether this is the fire risk, or the surveillance risk, or maybe both.

I have been told in 1to1 conversations, that EVs are not allowed in certain secured environments now, but I don't know whether this is the fire risk, or the surveillance risk, or maybe both. The latter would be my guess, and a very sensible measure too in some establishments. You can build all sorts of surveillance software into a car equipped with microphones and cameras all round and its own bluetooth & internet connections. BEVS are considerably (20 times less) likely to burst into flames than an ICE car.

I think I read some months back that Chinese govt had banned Tesla`s from entering security conscious areas, which is kinda interesting as many Teslas are built in China.

How can anyone believe Farage after the Lies he told pre-Brexit. Savings of Bilions are just as fanciful as the funds promised for the NHS - He is a British Trump who tells whatever lies he feels will get headlines. Surely the British public arent as gullible as the MAGA idiots

How can anyone believe Farage after the Lies he told pre-Brexit. Savings of Bilions are just as fanciful as the funds promised for the NHS - He is a British Trump who tells whatever lies he feels will get headlines. Surely the British public arent as gullible as the MAGA idiots He is no different to any other UK politician, they all mislead and often outright lie, subject to the matter/policy under discussion. The Brexit lies were told on both sides of the argument/debate. The last Labour Government lied about weapons of mass destruction and took us into a war we are still suffering the fall out from. The Tories aren't any better.
