What are you all finding the best Everflex waterproofer please.
Also the best aerosol black underseal for touching up the odd road kill /grounding spots.
Thank you.

The black Tetroseal waxoil is great but beware the paint additive is very tenacious and so difficult to get off (including your hands). I use the clear equivalent near exterior paintwork which allows excess to be readily removed with white spirit.

Thanks Richard, I think the car came out the factory in 1999 with the black stuff as I am always covered in the black goop when working underneath her.

Bilt Humber underseal was my choice on the trads. It didn't harden and crack, maintaining a bit of self healing. It washes off with white spirit. Mask off areas to keep clear then spray on. Autoglym vinyl/rubber cleaner. Renovo do kits for rejuvinating vinyl roofs. The awkward problem is sealing the sewn seams. Beeswax or seam sealer worked. My roof was tight and the thread holes were the weak spots in heavy rain.

Thanks yes it's the seams on the Sport Everflex that I'm targeting really so a little bees wax, sixteen years old and with 116,500 miles and used as a daily she is in great condition including the roof just in need of a little proofing.
Interestingly the Plus 8 at twenty six years old the mohair roof is tight as a nut, unlike the windscreen rubber lower seal which I shall have to renew sometime. Always use her with the half cover over and side screens off so to be fair it has little use as a roof..

If your car has the black stuff from the factory then get a spray can of Dinitrol chassis wax in black and use that to make the touchups. It will fully blend and is a self repairing finish as in rust protection as this was the wax that MMC used. Dirt cheap and available on line.
Everflex shouldn't leak, if it does it's the stiching holes or normal Mog fitting defects. Think Dave W had a solution if its the stiching.

I used the wax for Belstaf waxed cotton jackets on mine to seal the stitching.
