If an high profile person such as yourself Dave W isn't going then what is the point. The number of people you have helped and or encouraged to persevere with our strange little cars over the years, you should have been the guest of honour I.M.H.O.

Is there likely to be a T.M. meet somewhere next year, it would be great to meet some of the key members of this wonderful site.

I’m not sure the factory would be happy to put on a ‘breakaway’ event for TM rebels………!!🤷🏼‍♂️😆….. but it’d be interesting to see what the turnout would be………

Bring on the 2026 TM gathering for real Morgan folk….!!!!😆 (no black tie dinner dance/limited numbers/huge price tag…..!!)

Would it be naughty to call it a "real mog" event like a "real ale" event. Hmm if it were not for the fact that those should not be mixed it would seem sensible combo?

Everyone loves a Morgan. Even me, unless it's broken again.

How about a "Pedigree" event ? (inspired by all you Marstons' real ale lovers)

I think we could have a series of events - all it takes is for someone to organise (like Rich did this year).

My suggestion would be to look at something you normally do, and then have an open invitiation to the group. If no-one turns up, you're still doing something that you like.

I'd be happy to arrange an open invite event to Caff&Mac (Bowl or Hill), Shuttleworth, Gaydon.

Those down south could do something like Brooklands or Beaulieu.

Great British Car Journey is another good venue, and there's a whole raft of Bike/Car themed Cafes around the place.

I think the forum started in August, so that would be a good month to do stuff (purely from a selfish perspective as I'm off work!)

A TM event for ‘real Morganers’ named after a real ale has something about it. Pedigree has merit with 2 meanings ( a beer and history) . Certainly better than my out of London tipple - Dorset Piddle ! Still if it rained …………..

I vividly remember my one and only bigish Morgan do at the Lygon Arms, ( Broadway or Bourton on the Water ?) with a grass. Track race close by, back in the 80s . It didn’t end well. Given advice on the race , I did the opposite. Gunned the plus 8 down the straight with the back end going left and right for much of it ( embarrassing) but good practice for future road use. . Then at the hotel eating a cucumber crustless sandwich which I didn’t realise had a wasp on it . My tongue went up like a balloon and ruined the rest of the day.
So no posh Morgan events for me, just a local band of likeminded brothers for some years and then recently meeting nice guys Rich and Graham in Somerset and Dorset which brought back past great memories .
Best to all, MM
PS May be Fullers London Pride ……TM Pride ( proud Morgan owners and the same people ‘bonding’ ) .perhaps not .. !?

Surely this is an event where MMC are trying to show off just how great the plus 4 is, how long its been around and how loved it is//was by its owners. This is the most successful car of all the Morgans. If I was on the Morgan board I'd want the Hills to be covered with plus 4 Moggies.

I suspect MMC will have a celebratory Plus 4 event, and I’m sure that would be well-attended. The MSCC 75th is, coincidentally, the same year, and MMC are helping support it with events at the factory, however it’s not part of the Plus 4 celebrations. Perhaps it should be, with one of the MSCC days being a Plus 4 day. Wonder if that was ever considered?
