Congratulations Doug enjoy your miles in the pick of the bunch Plus 8 wise mileage like age is just a number.
I recently bought a 2009 4/4Sport for my Son with 115,500 miles on it going sweet as a nut with the revvy Sigma, using her as my daily over winter as they have limited parking down St Eval and 3 vehicles plus a Scoot.

Douglas, congrats on the new Morgan
I've just checked and my friends Plus 8 has over 240,000 miles on, so I wouldn't worry on 140k...enjoy

Thanks Jon, and all for your kind comments.
Please to hear there is a Plus 8 out there that has more miles under its bonnet. I am back in the UK in two weeks to pick her up, then use her in the Algarve and bring her back in the spring.
She joins my small collection of a 1964 Bentley S3 and 1969 R-R Shadow convertible.

Sold my 2018 4/4 (so one of the last) recently at a realistic price. So there are buyers out there. No where near what I paid for it but if you amortise the sheer fun that I had driving it (roof down) for 12k miles after adding the Rutherford Conversion by New Elms and the impeccable servicing by Brands Hatch Morgan, the loss is inconsequential in the general scheme of things. Life too short etc.
Sadly Stenosis and advancing age was the reason but Hey Ho. I’m still going to read this wonderful forum

I hate to talk the country down but I’m just glad I no longer run my own businesses . London still has a buzz in some areas but it’s more muted these days . We might have been a nation of shopkeepers but many high streets look depressed with closed shops often replaced by nail bars, barbers and charity offerings, Thankfully some Asian areas in London have vibrant shops, late night opening hours with great restaurants Are there many Morgan owners in the Asian communities ? Interesting. I come from Bradford, worked in Sheffiel, for many years. Going back to those two cities, Sheffield is dead but Bradford is a lively place thanks mainly to the large numbers of immigrants from the sub continent. You see them driving around in flash cars, lots of BMs and Mercs and some exotics such as Lambo and Ferrari. MInd you one of them told me that often the Lambo and Ferrari are rented for the day to show others how well they are doing! Never saw a single Morgan
