This is bad news indeed. In my case both sections of the Factory supplied speedo cable did not fit and the Morgan Dealer could not suggest an alternative. Speedograph Richfield saved the day.
It just re-enforces the need for all of us to post the details of sources we come across of spare parts, craftsmen, refurbishers etc. to help keep our cars on the road.

100% agree- this link from the GoMog site on the subject. https://www.speedycables.com/Unfortunately Caerbont, whilst the OEM supplier for Morgan, no longer service or supply trad instruments. Although if you want a MidSummer instrument cluster..... ..

Sad indeed for such an old well established company although maybe understandable. I used them on several occasions over many decades recalibrating a chronometric speedo, adjusting and providing a new scale for an old rotating magnet tachometer and building a custom gearbox for the cable drive to match. I guess such tasks will be left to one man band businesses in the future, working from home although how long even for them 🤔 Maybe the greater loss will be the accumulated knowledge.

I find with my 94 +8 it depends on when the car was made in 94 to determine parts that fit e.g. the water pump for my 94 +8 is the year 93 not 94.
