The Porsche vid seems perhaps a tad flawed, in that were I living the sophisticated lifestyle portrayed, I doubt I would choose to have a large roundel on the door of my Porsche...?
I thought to provide an alternative insight with just a couple of pics, sorry no video.. (-:
How about SCOTTISH 2025...?
Also sorry, don`t have a swimming pool , but I do have a septic tank in the lawn which I installed a while back...
However I do own a Porsche and this year my old Mid 80`s +8 has been the machine of choice when seeking to enjoy a bit of back road driving, it having covered more miles this year than the Porsche.
Why..? 50MPH in the Morgan feels like 100MPH, whereas 100MPH in the C4S feels like 50MPH.
Added to the above, I do not own a Leica, took the pics with an old Nikon D800 I had also grabbed a pic of the Porsche with my iPhone which made a better job of capturing and processing it than I ever could... Sigh.!
Sorry, had issues trying to find the correct embed codes for the Morgan pic, you may have to click on the link to open it... Sigh.
I think the MMC video is very well made considering the size of the company. At Porsche Global, approximately 500 people work in the marketing department and have a budget of over β¬300 million. Does anyone know how many employees work in marketing at MMC and what the budget is?
Unusually for me......... I actually don't mind the Morgan film..........π€·π»ββοΈ I'm usually quick to criticize MMC and their current delusions of automotive grandeur....... but they've got to try and flog a few cars to stay afloat..... so marking 75 years of broken production is worth a go.....π€·π»ββοΈπ Obviously, people who look like the couple in the film wouldn't dream of buying a Plus Four, they'd buy a 911, as would anyone normal.......π
The Porsche film does a far better job of giving a view of the lifestyle that people who look like that aspire to....... but it's clear their budget was HUGE compared to MMC's versionπ
IMHO......... if MMC want to attract good looking trendy youngsters instead of beardy weirdy old farts they need to be far more radical in the design dept....BUT.... make the cars more affordable, improve build quality and stop the leaks.......π€·π»ββοΈπππ

Don't overlook that good looking trendy youngsters will eventually become beardy weirdy old farts, but beardy weirdy old farts will never become good looking trendy youngsters. Would you buy a used Morgan from a good looking trendy youngster ?

Sorry for side drift... for me, this is the best Porsche advertising video.

Brilliant ad, and darn it, that immediately proves me wrong......

MMC/the Italians can't afford to wait for the trendy youngsters to become beardy weirdy old farts because by then the current old farts will be long gone....... and so might MMC be if they don't sell lots of cars........π± The trendy youngsters would probably be more comfortable buying a car from another trendy youngster.......π€·π»ββοΈπ

Julian, perhaps best not to believe all you see in the adds..... I can tell you first hand that Porsche service is not quite as portrayed in that vid. Also, it seems all may not be going well at Porsche with profits down quite a bit, perhaps alarmingly so.... ?
