Unfortunately, no, you are referring to the "Fourtunes-Caroline" I assume but other than that, it is still playing good music, a lot of album tracks, I get it on Alexa.

Rich, the "under the bedclothes club", I remember it well how a record you really liked would just fade away with the interference. I have recently rediscovered "Caroline" and even had an e-mil read out over the air waves, back to 1964 again, they are still operating from the Ross Revenge out in the Blackwater. Thanks for posting this Reg, I've now reacquainted myself with Radio Caroline. I remember listening to their close down broadcast back in the 60's. Nice to know that the Ross Revenge is still afloat - I last saw her moored on the Medway at Rochester some years ago when on the train home from work. Ahh - memories!

She is now moored permanently on the river Blackwater near Maldon, I see it quite often. I remember in the 60's driving out to Clacton to see it, we used to flash our headlights to it.

The Radio Caroline Society runs tours of the ship. A bit expensive at £40 a pop though. An ideal Christmas present and a chance to wear your 60's glad-rags ? WebsiteFacebook

For information, Radio Caroline currently can be found on 648 kHz AM, which covers the East & SEof England, as well as on DAB, its' website & app etc. radiocaroline.co.uk refers. As a non-profit, charity-owned entity, it relies on commercial advertising, donations, etc to fund its continuing operation. Pleased to say from the end of our Avenue on Mersea Island, we can just see her in the River Blackwater!
