I think that we can all struggle a bit on the physics of all that. Especially how the injections manage to top up the boiler when its at over 200psi. But just how steam pressure generates vacuum but also that this was built in essentially one location from scratch. Not just one but hundreds over time, and banging them out quite fast, even in WW2.
I also admire those who magage to section and made good such thick steel sections. Amazing.

Must get up there sometime it does look interesting..
Not much incentive with workshops and plenty of Steam down her including the Kingswear Castle plying it's trade during the season and Motorways do my head in after spending a lifetime on them.

the old Lancashire & Yorkshire rail signalling training school display, very impressive .DB I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Derby training School, Signalling section. As well as afterwards with Signet, a private training company.
