Saw this from MMC yesterday

I saw that one. It is impressive - especially these days.

Very Impressive. We must assume he stated in 1975 at say age 15 so must be 65 years old now. Probably close to retirement. As Paul says very impressive these days.

I have worked on the same computer system for 41 years, but that is for 7 different companies and no way am I going to work another 9 years to reach 50 years.

Hats off to Adrian, that is quite an accomplishment.

I'd be interested to know what the average staff retention (in years) is at MMC, in particular within the production and service side, because there are certainly quite a few craftspeople who have been there for many, many years.

I recall being in Belgium with Steve Morris over a decade ago and meeting a local owner; when we looked at the bonnet on the Morgan, it had Steve's clock number stamped into it. We worked out that he had made the bonnet about 30 years previously (I may be aging him a little, so if he reads this, my apologies if I added 5+ years! but I believe he made the bonnet in his teens when working in the trim shop).
