To get the most from our Catalina membership the GEG hit Duxford today in 2 mogs & some tin tops.
Always a great place to visit even if it was cold.

As well as museum exhibits we took advantage of an interesting talk on the Hawker Hurricane, it's development from the Hawker Fury biplane and all the model variants including later version with 40mm tank busting cannon used in North Africa during WW2.

Graham this will have to be on our airfields tour I reckon next year, haven’t been for about 8 years now.

It's only about 30 miles from Shuttleworth if you're hoping to come over next year.

There's a lovely Art Deco hotel at Sywell, that's reasonably priced. Althoiugh it's only 10 miles from home, the Mrs and I are having a night there in Jan. We're going over in the evening, having a meal, lots of drinks and the bar, breakfast in the morning and then home. Just because we can
