The black instrument covers on the dashboard are fading and turning a reddish colour. (part no. T430002). I understand that they are anodised aluminium. I am not able to buy replacements as they are apparently no longer manufactured. Does anyone know of this problem and do you have any suggested remedy?

I'd be tempted to paint them. A satin black rattle can doesn't cost much.
