In my right ear. I thought it was either the hood seal on the rear bulkhead, or the hood frame. I tried lubing everything, but it made no difference. I was never able to replicate the noise when investigating. Today I had to move the car in a car park, I didn't put the seatbelt on and no squeak! I've realised it's the seat belt rubbing against the leather piping at the top of the seat. I'm amazed it can produce such a loud squeak, it's loud enough to still be irritating at 60mph!
Has anyone had similar and found an elegant solution?
I've an off-cut of material with a 3M sticky back, which I've stuck over the area for the moment. Looks awful, but it works for now. Really, the metal belt guide could do with being an inch or more higher, but I don't know how safe that would be. Alternatively, maybe the guide could incorporate a sleeve the belt passes through, so it doesn't rub the seat piping. I'm not sure how that could attach to the guide. It also needs a way of fitting it without dismantling the seatbelt.

I have a “protective” leather piece guiding the seatbelt over the seat! Thanks for the reply. Is this something you have added? How is it fixed / what does it look like?

Looks nice. The squeak on mine is the front seam, not covered by your leather piece. Also, strangely, my seatbelt guides seem lower and nearer the seat, a different version to yours.

My Plus8 had a curved plastic guide bolted on by the same bolt to fix the metal guide loop already there. It didn't touch the seat itself as it left a small gap. I've been thinking of getting them for the Plus Four, either find some or make a couple.

When i have received my 2020plus four i had some rattling noise coming from the right side, close to the door. When my first radiateur was replaced they found after the removal of the wings some forgoten bolts.
