That BHM photo accentuates the skinny "rubber band" tyres, which just look so wrong on a Mog IMHO....

They look wrong on anything bar a full-on racing car!

Also-bloomin-lutely! This weird fascination for destroying the handling, ride comfort, wheel strength and puncture resistance simply for the sake of supposed looks is frankly bonkers, especially on UK roads.

That car would look far better on 17s with a decent bit of tyre wall showing.

I had a c class Merc with an AMG pack including narrow wall tyres. I fitted full fat snow tyres one winter & the difference convinced me to avoid these type of tyres.
The car handled far better and the comfort vs jarring was amazing. The full fat versions neve had a puncture the narrow walls constantly did.

On the P6 also the alloy rims stand out and are easily damaged

The Sport with 80 section tyres is so smooth and the panacea for the potholes, the Plus 8 with 65's is good too.

Unlike Heathers GTI on 40's you feel every damn thing.

Ditto - a lovely drive along the East Lothian coastline in the sunshine with a stop at Gullane Bents to watch the surfers.
