Just seen this - owes me for Aero 8 sale from 5 years ago - strangely seen the car go through auction site from the people he sold it to!!! I held off pressing him as they were going through a bad period !!
Please keep the replies relevant to the original post, and topic, of this thread.
I have separated the latest tangent and created a new topic for it, within the dealer section; however, doing that takes time because I have to move each post independently and thus is an onerous task. It is far quicker for me to simply delete the replies but I generally don't do that out of courtesy.
If the post is moving away from the original topic, it is far better to start a new thread. You can always link back to the original thread either using the editing tools (Insert Link) or simply mention it in the text of the new topic.
Thank you in advance for assisting with this simple piece of housekeeping.
Sorry to cause you hassle, but I thought I was helping as RTCC was re-opening and was keeping some of it's original employees I thought it might help those effected to trace the missing cars / cash :-(

Paul, it wasn't simply your post, it was the 10 or so after it, as well as the tangent about motorcycles; so please don't feel my comments were directed at one person.
Normally, I am very relaxed about thread drift; however, on this occasion, and having been contacted by various people, and parties, who, it appears will be impacted by this situation to varying degrees, I felt that it is important to keep the discussion to the core of the original post.
In doing so, I hope that those who have been affected by this situation can easily find the information they require.
Interestingly another specialist dealership has disappeared with apparent sellers cars and funds announced today, sadly one customer was a Morgan owner……certainly nice to know not to sell this way for future reference……I hope you all get some or all your funds or cars returned

Simon, in fairness, the title of this thread is "Richard Thorne Classic Cars". Perhaps matching the thread title to the original post would help keep it on subject, e.g. "Is anyone owed money by RTCC?".
Also, I notice that the moved posts are now in New Elms Sale. New Elms is mentioned only in reference to its owner; the thread is actually about the purchase of RTCC.
