Those saddle bags look to be a good idea. I've never seen them before and would ask where one might buy them. I'm going to experience the NC500 in May (taking three weeks to complete it with three nights on Skye) and all they look useful for odds and sods. I'll be solo but already have an idea of what I would put in them.

I'm impressed with the quality, and the fitting is relatively easy. The strap is released by undoing two screws inside the bag, and that also facilitates adjustment of strap length (I shortened it by two holes).

Other bags are available, but I wanted one - such as this - where the release catch is press and lift, rather than something more fiddly.

Agreed Brexit - such a mistake. So yet another "export" opportunity lost - multiply all of the many thousands of these small transactions and it adds up to a significant loss. Before our act of national self harm I had a thriving hobby business restoring and selling transistor radios from the '60s and '70s via ebay all over the world, but with the EU being the major market. Brexit killed it dead. It was not worth the hassle and cost of the export admin.

And 10 years on the error of our misguided decision is amplified by all the current conflicts with America and Trump. Needless to say all the opinion polls suggest our voters now regret the decision, although paradoxically one of the lead protagonists of Brexit - now leading a populist right wing party is riding high in the polls rather than being punished for his association with the Brexit debacle. Strange times.

Anyway, enjoy your Plus Four - mine is currently garaged and back on the road from !st March. Cant wait!.
