My apologies if this is seen as changing the subject but I don't yet know how to open a new thread and I wanted to ask if anyone has any suggestions to prevent water leaking through the windscreen. I imagine it enters at the bottom of the glass but can't be sure.

Where are you seeing the water? I had a couple of minor leaks, caused by the top rail seal, but I could see the drips beading down the inside of the screen.

The water collects in the inside corner of the screen on the driver’s side before dripping onto my leg but I can’t see where it’s getting in. I’ve since discovered how to open a new thread and received a couple of kind responses, both suggesting applying silicone. I’ve also come across an earlier thread with photos showing where to apply the silicone so I’m pleased that I asked for guidance.

I also had the problem of water dripping onto my left pant leg. It also ran over the speedometer and the tachometer, and the water destroyed the circuit board responsible for the interior lighting twice.
It took a long time to find the place where the water was coming in. The water was entering the interior via the windshield wiper shafts. The seals were not working properly.
Are you absolutely sure that it is entering under the windshield?

I hadn't thought that it might be the wiper shafts - how did you deal with it?

I've spent a couple more sessions on the passenger side door, sidescreen and hood gaps. I have used nearly 3 metres of neoprene 1/2" 'D' profile seal, from woollies. Hope what follows makes sense / might be of use to someone.

On mine, investigation suggested there were three main areas for attention:
- Vertical rear edge of the door and sidescreen. I had to run the new seal from top to bottom (in two halves, to allow sidescreen removal). I still had a slight draft until I added an extra run of seal on the door. This has nearly completely stopped the draft.
- Front half of the top of sidescreen to hood join: There is already a factory seal on the hood frame, split into two lengths, to allow the frame to hinge when being collapsed. This seals adequately against the sidescreen, but I still had a gap between the hood and the frame. I ran a length of seal above the front half of the factory seal. This needed Evostick contact adhesive, to make firm. When the hood's up, this now touches the hood and closes the gap. It doesn't interfere with collapsing the hood.
- Where the sidescreen and door meet at the front edge and also seal against the bulkhead beneath the bottom of the windscreen. There was a significant draft from this area, blowing into the cabin around the left end edge of the dashboard roll-top. This took the longest to fix, but I've managed it with a couple of parallel strips of seal along the bulkhead, in line with the top of the door and a single seal on the fabric section of the sidescreen, front edge to the chrome sidescreen attachment bracket. That's pretty much fixed it. I'm not sure how well the seal's pre-applied 3M adhesive will work on the sidescreen material. I may need some evostick here, time will tell.

None of the seals added are visible with the door closed, nor with the sidescreen off. They aren't noticeable with the door open, unless you know what you're looking for. Even then, the D seal looks reasonably like it was built that way. The result is much less draft, a significant improvement, not totally eradicated, but now perfectly acceptable. I also think the wind noise is reduced. This improvement is noticeable, but not significant. 👍

Do you have a link to the Woolies neoprene 1/2” D-profile seal? It’s not obvious from my searching which one to go for. Ta!
