Enjoyed the Irish and Australia game, pity Australia couldn't maintain the occasional moments of brilliance for the full 80 mins, weather conditions probably didn't help their cause.
Great Try from Italy, hopeful signs for the future.

Well my twopence worth, I haven't looked at who' is playing where but gut instinct England or France at the top, between Scotland and Ireland for third and maybe not the wooden spoon for Italy.

The score flatterers……………Ireland. Big heavy defeat, poor defensively. Yes 12/14 minutes of some momentum but outplayed in all areas by France. They dominated possession, in the air and speed generally especially to the rucks. So much more creative. Looking forward to France England but can only hope the wheels come off for France ! MM

MM.
You like myself must have watched a very different game to the Irish supporters post match postings, who are not known for being gracious in defeat, needless to say poor refereeing by an English ref (they used to blame Wayne Barnes for all their previous woes) and injury, list key excuses for a real lack lustre Irish performance, The French were dominate throughout most of the game, the offloading was fast and precise and they were quite creative around the scrum.
I think the game in Paris will decide the championship, if it was at Twickers maybe we might just edge it. Same for third place with Scotland at Aviva, might just edge it for Ireland. It will be interesting right upto the final day, and with Scotland playing both England and France at home there could be an English upset Has the makings of an interesting 6 nations

Great start for Italy and England - Italy digging deep against the over confidence of Scotland paid dividends.
Painful watching Wales in total dissaray, I hope there is some arse kicking going on behind the scenes at managerial level as I'm sure the boys are ready to deliver.

Great to watch the Italian game, they now need to take that spirit into away games, I get the feeling that the game at Aviva next week will decide third place,, if Italy can maintain that standard for the full 80 minutes.
Wales were sadly in total disarray, too many penalties. Lets hope Scotland delivers some of the much promised performance in the upcoming games. It was good to see Ford coming into his own, and the depth and breadth of the subs bench now available to England, it's been a long time coming, but great to watch.
