Do let me know if you have any topics you'd particularly like me to cover in one of these episodes? and I'll see what I can do.

A general technical walkthrough of your suspension setup would be great thumbs

Thanks, Dave.

The First week of the new channel has been a bit of a whirlwind... learning how all the YouTube analytics and dashboarding works... and getting feedback on what to improve - it's all been great.

I'm pleased that it's had such a warm welcome and as promised here is Episode 1.....

Interesting!
The scrutineers have been testing our wheel nuts with magnets at race meetings. We’re supposed to have steel wheel nuts now. You might want to order a set if like me your wheel nuts are aluminium. Good luck with the build

As I recall the steel wheelnut thing has been in the Blue-Book since way way back ... guess there's been some drifting from the rules and they're having a bit of a purge.

I don't think I'd be comfortable with Aluminium wheel nuts! both cars defo run steels. I did look at getting open ended steel nuts rather than closed ended ones though.. I prefer that from a safety perspective. Unfortunately these are not generally available for the 9/16 thread on the older cars.

At 8:25 mins in on the latest vid, it looks like the tyre is not seated properly on the outer rim of the blue Minilites?

Eagle eyed - it wasn’t. Minilites don’t have a deep centre dish for fitting and I probably didn’t use enough soap.

I did get it to pop…. Eventually. But as a test fit it was good enough.

I made my first official "Short"... lol.... specially for your question. I'm sure there is info I've missed off... but I was trying hard to get it inside 1min.
