Good game with Ireland, a stoush within the first five minutes, but the All Blacks prevailed extending their unbroken win record at Eden Park to 53 games. Of course South Africa coming up will be a different kettle of fish.
Really enjoyed watching the game online with the brother in law in Palmerston North, a naturalised kiwi from Dublin, who was wearing a green hat with black gillet (divided loyalties), in company with some of our Dublin friends who were on messenger. Needless to say the score and most of the game didn't go down well with our Irish contingent.....I had to point out the sore grapes when references to Chicago and the ending of the last great Kiwi run of wins. Great to watch the Kiwi game which seems to be in ascendence again.
