When I decided to become a born again biker in my 50`s, I bought a very tidy little BSA B 40 from a friend, which I really enjoyed chucking about, perhaps more than it was initially designed to be chucked, though fortunately without issues, it did seem that I was over taxing it in modern traffic situations, though despite that, I loved the way it sounded , which convinced me that I still greatly enjoyed m/cycling, so much so that I bought my last bike, a BMW R850 R which was a fine machine indeed and more than capable at the time in any modern traffic situations.... I kept enjoyed my m/cycling for a few more years in all weathers, snow included... though once my eyesight reduced to requiring me to wear glasses, I decided the time had come to hang up my helmet.... misting visor was bad enough but adding misting glasses to the mix too..!!! Yeah motorcycles and motorcycling was a great pastime, that I am very pleased I did not miss out on....  Pin lock helmet visors are the modern answer to misting George. They really work - the name stems from the quick attachment inner visor (available with alternate tints) forming something akin to double glazing. Latest two wheel addition, a Royal Enfield Guerrilla 452cc liquid coooled single with 6 speed box. Jeez Richard, how long back did I type that...? For sure things have moved on rather a lot since I sold my R850R over 20 years ago, stiffness in my legs in Winter after an hour or so of riding, was also getting the better of me, though I will not complain about that as that was around the time I thought a Morgan might fit the bill... (-: The "Royal" Enfield in your image looks a zillion years away from the 250 Clipper that I dragged back to life in the late sixties as my first 4 stroke M/cycle, prior to that I had an old Norman with leading link front forks and a Villiers 9E engine... Truth be told I think I am past my m/cycling years... sigh. Though were I not then a 70`s BMW R90S would likely more suit my Luddite tendencies.. (-:
