Under the bonnet by the side of the fuesbox there's an id plaque which includes the paint code.

Google offers up: Mercedes 9871 Helvinsilber Metallic Base coat Unfortunately that's a Silver colour - this car is the total opposite... I'll have to try MMC. Bunny - Thanks for looking.
