We opted for a couple of black North Face Base Camp bags (XS), they are incredibly tough and versatile. They blend into the black carpet very well, the logo isn’t seen as it’s at the end of the bag. They also come with removable back pack straps so easy enough to sling over your shoulder if parking at any services etc. and don’t want to leave in the vehicle.

They come in a multitude of colours and fit perfectly in the space behind, leaving just enough room to lay a jacket or two on top. We managed to get both for £120 in a sale. Holding 31ltrs each it’s surprising what you can get into them!

Great thing also is they can be used elsewhere if needed.

Thanks all for the suggestions. I have had another thought and wondered if anyone had tried pannier liner bags?

I found this - https://www.bags2cover.co.uk/product/pannier-inner-liner-bag/

Prices from £39.99 - a bit more palatable that some of the suggestions above. Has anyone tried these?

If I decide to go in this direction, I will have to wait until the car arrives and measure up myself.

The custom bags have varying dimension to fill the space & for the angle of the seat back. But they look like a good cheap alternative
