Apart from the three-wheeler, I don't think there will ever be another Morgan priced below €100,000 coffee

I suspect so too. In fact, I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the current Threewheeler didn't get a successor.

Currently 395 Morgan’s for sale on car & classics 🙏 so a buyers market..

Nothing is, looking at the recently owned CX range...

The stratospherically priced specials are though, the writing has been on the wall for a long time for those choosing to read it - this is the future of the Company and anyone dreaming of a return to a low priced entry model is not in the present day for sure - business doesn't ever work like that in the long term, it's untenable.

They know to target a new breed of high worth owners with something a little out of the ordinary and in mho they are well on target to keeping MMC as a going concern into the future and I wish them all the luck in the world with these sensational new models, always beyond my reach but that's the whole point.

They are not aimed at old farts happy with their Plus 8's.

The guide on our factory tour mentioned that the first Plus Fours arrived in the US just when Trump introduced the 25% tariff and not one order was cancelled, So people find then money if they really want one. The improvements in the build quality and finish do shine through when you has a line of CX and trads, even the very last trads. just don't seem to wear quite as well.

WIth around 90% of the entire Morgan production still around I don't think people are going to be stuck for choice.......just need to ensure that the UK dealership network is well patronised, as they may feel the pinch as more factory volume goes overseas and the traditional UK market demand they are so used to and gear up for doesn't start to evaporate.

TBH as soon as this lot jumped on the bandwagon it was the beginning of the end for our traditional dealer network, when a pure profit outfit such as this one, there are many involved and it is no longer an emotional British car thing it's over.

Melvyn got out before it was too late.

Henry will survive as he and Richard diversified early on and still feel the passion.

I don't think any others will be there in 5 years time as the Factory will be the only servicing agent for the new genre.

It is the right time for small non sales independents to set up shop now to cater for the fading numbers of Traditional customers is a reality.

My CX was supplied by the factory not thru a dealership, I'm getting it serviced by the factory and so make a nice day of it in the experience centre (great sausage sandwich) and do a factory tour etc.........you can see which way it's all heading. I'm sure in a few years time when used Supersport prices soften, I can see me getting one of those...............they have come a long way from my first Morgan 4/4.

Not all the progress is to everyone's taste but the changes like adoption of automatics has enabled me to stay with a Morgan, which I would have otherwise sadly had to cut my ties, for me there's no point in just having it in the garage and not using it and a manual gearbox was now unfortunately beyond my Morgan enjoyment experience.

We were caught in heavy M6 congestion returning from a Noggin on Saturday, the automatic just dealt with the inching for miles in traffic which would have been an absolute ball's ache in the previous Morgans.

In December's tour we were told 3-wheelers were 2 per week build. Hence moving them to a smaller area off the regular production line.
An entry level Morgan? I wonder how much cost of adding two wheels to the rear would be? I remember seeing a photo of such a conversion.
A love-child between a M3W and Plus Four? An odd looking beast?
