Very arty Grumpy, I like that unusual angle on the subject very much...Might give it a go myself some time...Though getting back up off the ground after framing the image would seem likely to be the difficult part..? smile

I do have an ‘arty’ camera with a flip screen so although the camera was near ground level I was just bending. The image library kills the quality however.

Ahh, a flip screen..! Thought about upgrading my old D800 to the D850 to save my knees etc, but it seems the combination of the weight of camera kit combined with the advance in iPhone`s ever improving capabilities and thus convenience, I suspect much like the tools in my garage my camera kit will gather dust and spiders...Shrug..!

At least I can still access and egress the Mog, what`s more to want...? (-:

No, its a Canon 80D with quite a few L series lenses (pic was shot with 24-105L for anyone remotely interested) . For snaps and holidays I also have on Olympus OM10 mk2 system which is about half the bilk and weight.

Considering replacing both with a Canon R5 but the costs are eyewatering!

Thanks for the further heads up Grumpy, as I am interested, but long time Nikon user with the holy trinity of pro lenses as they were in the 90`s, but lacking the skill and artistry to make the best of them, perhaps more use as male jewellery in my case...(-: The combined weight of my camera kit is way-way too heavy to be lugged around by me these days..

After a few years off from photography, I've just started again, thought I'd take the chance and got a R5 MK2 / RF to EF lens adaptor and RF 24 to 105 F4L lens from Panamoz (Gray import)
Saved thousands and can still use my old lenses. I did wonder how long it would take from Hong Kong but it arrived 4 days after I ordered.

Passed my Canon kit to a step grandson who is studying photography at 6th form college. Remembering my days as a school photographer sometimes photoing 1,000 kids a day and coming home with the skin worn off my nose, ah those where the days.
