Got the first proof yesterday, so did a blitz on any typos. Quite good first pass, with only a few nips and tucks, and commas to insert.

You realise this? But translating that book into 'a book' faces huge obstacles. The first time, and I needed convincing, I had the right contacts which gave me a door which was ajar. This time I got a poke from JohnV6 ^^^^ who had seen a request from the commissioning editor from Amberley, and After sitting on the fence a while, I decided to contact him just to see if we could make it work. He sent me a copy of the Jaguar XK book in the Amberley series, so that I could get a feel for the expectations. After some exploration of ideas, we settled on my era, the Long Doors. But this motoring series is not aimed at the practicalities, its more of a storybook of how things happen in the way they did and what was the outcome.

Congratulations Dave! Do you mention the 2002 4/4 LM62? Yes the LM62 edition is covered. Colour images throughout, except for some early images.
