Fitting it to the Plus Four isn't possible at the moment
The Newton cap fits well in the ring I bought from Morgan
However, the aluminum ring from Morgan doesn't fit the original fuel cap
The original cap is 94mm wide, and the ring's inner diameter is 90mm
I'm hesitant to modify the Morgan ring because there isn't much material left over

creating a 3.5mm chamfer :

After trying the modified ring again, it turns out that a 3.5mm chamfer isn't enough
I'm going to make a 5mm chamfer ...

The next step in the project is drilling the bodywork for the installation of the ring :

I installed the ring last night.

But the 6th screw at the bottom left is very difficult to access :

That looks really nice.

Perhaps some dielectric barrier paste on those stainless screws where they break through the rear panel might be prudent?
