Looks like Brazil Metallic (BLVC109) a British Leyland colour used in the 70’s and 80’s.

Isn't that a two tone? I was at the factory last week and they had a brown/bronze that was a two tone but much more subtle on the contrast. I liked it. Unfortunately, I didn't get a photo. I never get photos when I need them later.

Interesting that you all are waxing poetic about the color of the car, yet not a comment abut the stunning woman.
Even with her valor in not dyeing her hair, she still manages to get at least one onlookers' vital juices flowing.

Well tbh the driver is what we expect to see over here, hence it not being commented on, don’t worry though she has been admired by a few for her elegance, the lady too.

We start them young, she will be driving it next year legally.

Why is it Morgan folk get so uptight about the colour source. It has to be Bentley, Porsche, Aston Martin this or that with Jaguar as a minimum innocent. A lovely colour is just that and no matter how low a manufacturer is in the pecking order they are going to discover a gem now and then. I bought a 911S in the 1970's that had been resprayed to a high standard in limited edition Ford metallic green even down to fresh engine bay stickers. For me it was the ideal colour for that car at the time, although the digital scan from a colour slide doesn't do it justice.

Richard, I'm not sure it is just Morgan folk. I have a family member who works in the industry and was recently telling me how frequently shades are 'adopted' by different makers and renamed. I do understand the need to do that but it did make me wonder how often two owners park their cars in a car park, different brands and vehicles, and comment on how similar the car colours are.

And, the more I've looked at it, the more I've wondered whether it is Porsche Macadamia Metallic sometimes also known as Macadamia Brown Metallic. It would support Richard's comment above about using a paint from a premium brand and it does look very similar to a 991 I had in that colour. Porsche only offered it for a few years (perhaps even only one) and it was stunning in the metal but I do think the word 'brown' is an automatic 'no' when it comes to car paint for many, which killed it off early.

I get the feeling these days as the name associated with a particular paint as it gets increasingly more exclusive, the costs of the paint probably rises to reflect the association, irrespective of it's actual cost to produce and apply.

One of my favourite.naming conventions was Jaguar's my father had two in Opalescent Silver Blue, basically a light metallic blue.although I don't recollect even from new it had these characteristics:-
,

Opalescent describes a lustrous, milky, or pearly appearance that reflects shimmering, rainbow-like colors, similar to an opal gemstone. It indicates a surface that changes color depending on the angle of light, often described as iridescent or shimmering.

By the way there is nothing wrong with some of the BL period colour paint, the only problem was they forgot to really apply much of it to each car. ( too much of a good thing).......
