Hello everyone, seeking pearls of wisdom.

Sidescreens have been on for a few days and whilst the drivers side is fine, the n/s is annoying me ! As a lengthy road trip to the Alps beckons I thought I would install them to ensure everything was “present and correct”.

In spite of being correctly positioned and being tightly secured, the leading edge of said n/s sidescreen insists on “vibrating” against the windscreen edge, resulting in an intensely irritating rattle. So before I resort to throwing said sidescreen into the nearest river, I wondered if anyone else had experienced this “unique and lovable foible” and found a cure/fix please ?

Before tossing them into the Cam, just see if these seals will fit your car.

The front sidescreen bracket can be carefully bent slightly off the car, in a vice. It doesn't need much.

I've found firm but gentle pressure over the straight edge of a wooden bench top works Chris. This along the line of aluminium frame bottom and lower part that secured to door top. The aim is to ensure the sidescreen frame engages with windscreen frame U shaped side rubber and top edge rests firmly against top edge of windscreen as door reaches fully shut position. If side screen frame doesn't touch firmly at top more bend is required.
