They've told me I won't be able to drive for six weeks which seems a lot. Didn't mention riding the motorbike though! Kevin feel free to contact Janice. 7 weeks in she still finds it hard to depress the clutch.

I’ve no complaints with NHS, had my knee bolted back together and back on my feet in a couple of days, all done with keyhole surgery, amazing! ![[Linked Image]](https://i.ibb.co/27Cbw8Tw/IMG-6200.jpg) Well they might have angle ground off the excess threads and screw heads at least. I demand better from our kitchen fitters... Not neat at all like the gherkin in london village - structurally sound but unfinished to the discerning eye.

There's a chap in our Men's Shed getting both knees done within one week. I wouldn't have thought that they would do both so close in time. I had a relatively fit BIL just a couple of years younger than myself have both knees replaced together whilst into his 70's. He really suffered for several months. Later discovered it was a hip replacement that was needed as he'd claimed all along. Now walks fine.

Sorry no just the one hip Richard. I'm pretty sure he needed both knees replaced as well prior, but just that this alone didn't solve the long standing limp he had. He's now able to ride a bike again albeit one with electrical assistance.
