Saw Peter last September at Old Sarum Airfield (museum well worth visiting by the way) ...where he was volunteering. We briefly chatted about cars and he did mention that the Porsche was very quick! I see that with 3-1/2 days to run, 17 bids have taken it to £26,250. A dealer in Eastleigh (near Southampton) and a private bidder are tussling.

A dealer in Eastleigh (near Southampton) and a private bidder are tussling. Chandler's Ford, near Eastleigh. I go past them occasionally. Doesn't seem to fit with their usual fare, so perhaps the dealer wants to buy it 'through the books' as a company car!
