Hi All
I've just reassembled my front suspension after replacing KPs, bushes, main springs, wheel bearings, brake pads, braided brake hoses, new bearings in Mulfab steering bearings etc etc. Great thanks to Arwyn Williams for pressing-in and reaming the bushes and pressing in new wheel bearing races.
A simple question. On a 1996 +4, is it necessary to to aquire and fit the brake pad retaining pins which are fitted on some trad cars from new (I don't know if they always were), rather than using the split pins which came with the pads and which are the same as were previously fitted on my car? It will cost me £25, including post from Gammon and Baker.
Thanks in anticipation to anyone who knows the answer.
