Hello to all,

I have a 3 wheeler of 2020 (euro 4) with now 9'000 km and the rectifier seems to be dead...

I saw that it was recommended to replace it by Harley's ones like Cycle Electric. But not easy to know which one to choose.

Could you advice me some rectifier references that are compatible with an M3W without modification ?

You could consider a more efficient series rectifier/regulator which reduces stress on the alternator stator, in turn slightly reducing engine load by only drawing current needed for battery and electrics. Suggest the Shindengen SH847 which is rated up to 50 amps output although there are cheaper.

The HD rectifier has been well proven to work and last well on the M3W.

The Harley Davidson 74540-01 is almost a direct replacement for the standard CE 601, you just need to fit a larger ring tag on the single long wire. Not very sophisticated in its operation but reliable.
