What it looks like on track ... my first ever run up so a bit tentative ... not sure I could remember how many 's' bends there were through the trees, and you don't want to get it wrong!! 🙂

Retarded the timing a bit which seemed to help.

Put another tank in, just south of Marlborough which improved things no end so I reckon it was a dodgy batch of petrol.

Autojumble was a bit rubbish though.

That put a damper on it, good result but pity there wasn't more stuff around for the garage/store.

This is what caught my eye at Beaulieu:

There were plenty of Moggies - but they were all Morris Minors..., many of which were in lovely condition...

The supercharged MGA was great, as was the Porsche 356C - both on display, not for sale. There was only maybe 8-10 cars in the Automart. Clearly the winds of change are starting to blow quite hard in the classic car market....

Nice video of your Wiscombe run Keith.
Both those rails appear at Prescott, too. Sadly we have no bike classes this year. Hope they'll be back in 2027.

Graham ... was that 'have' video of my Wiscombe run? ...... if so would be great if you could pm me it (or just post it here if it's easy to do and not too embarrassing 🙂) ... will have to get back down to Prescott sometime (just catch up with everyone) ... one of my favourite tracks.

Yep .... my second language is 'fat-finger gibberish' 🙂

Definitely need to sort a few trips down south to coincide with some British rounds.

Time for a confession... For the first time in many years I had the hood up on my Morgan, as it was a kinda typical Scottish grey day with rain constantly threatening, and I was feeling a little less than robust... Jeez i had forgotten quite how much the mechanical noise seems to be amplified in what is a confined space with the hood in place.... Coincidentally, as a result of spending a wet MSCC weekend in Northumberland the hood never being down, I had decided to look at returning to a tin top sports car...!

Back to yesterday, only a short to visit a local Vintage club`s first event of the year in the form of an outdoor show, to which classics are also invited. In the line up there was a Model T ford, looking newer than it was ever likely to have done as it left the factory, but did not hold that against it as apparently on the very day of the show it was celebrating it`s 116th birthday...!

There were also some bikes, that might pique the interest of known bikers and former bikers such as myself..? The Indian belongs to a local "elderly" engineering craftsman, coincidentally it was he who carried out the bush replacement and reaming on my stub axles a few years back, I digress I suspect that the foot clutch on his Indian would be too much for my grey cells to adapt to these days..! As ever at shows one tends to look for faults when presented with perfection, thus I noted that the front brake on the Triumph was non- original fitment, being a twin leading shoe...Still a very nice bike and a pleasure both to see and hear it..

Hope to attach a few pics form the day.

There is a known conversion kit for the foot clutch Indian, for those of us that are getting too long in the tooth to learn new tricks. I've been contemplating getting a '51 Roadmaster with tele front forks, that I've had my eye on for a while.
