Greetings Morgan Enthusiast. I am the owner of 2023 Plus Six. Driving it with much pleasure and fun in Germany. The Thing is that driving with the top down makes the cabin very dirty. I start with complete clean interiour and after a few Miles like 50β100 I have dust all around the cabin. Simply everywhere. Seats, Dashboard is covered with dirt. Sure its an open car but this is to much dust in to little time. Anyone else with this Problem or is it just normal? My car has 5000 km done and I would say this was not from the beginning. In fact my Face and clothes are actually such dirty in the evening that you can see the dirty water in the bathroom sink when you wash you Face. When Top is up there are no things like that. Last thing is that I drive the car as it was ment to be a proper sports car. Thanks for your answers.

Mine is the same. I have to regularly clean the inside of the windscreen. I've always had some backdraft and dust on my open top cars, but the backdraft on these is the worst I've experienced.
I would like to see a decent wind deflector offered for the +6, the mesh screen type, that fits over the rear parcel shelf and up behind the seats and headrests. This would be a game changer.

It's an old open-top drivers traditionβjust think of yourself as Caracciola's descendant. ![[Linked Image]](https://www.thespeedjournal.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/mercedes-benz-racing-driver-rudolf-caracciola-07.jpg)

The chappie in the cap may well be saying "I suspect your course of tooth whitening is probably complete now".

The joys/pitfalls of open top motoring........ You're more 'at one' with the environment, a part of the scenery................. it all adds to the Morgan experience........π₯³π
Don't clean the car, wear the dust as a badge of honour............. perhaps wash your face though...ππ I must admit to leaving my car dirty..... it's currently covered in bugs, flys and wildlife and the cabin is dusty as hell.....

I seem to recall Peter Jenks had this issue when he owned/ran 'Tarka'. I think he experimented with a clear perspex or black mesh wind break behind the seats at roughly shoulder /head height. He deduced that the dust ingress was due to the specific aerodynamics at the rear of the car which caused the air (and dirt!) to be 'sucked' back into the cabin. I think that DaveW has also designed and built a few versions of wind break - might be worth searching the archives.... James
