Anyone know the specific process to remove the key cylinder from the steering column? I have a new cylinder. I looked at existing situation. There’s 2 “ tabs on stalk below and under the cylinder. There’s a “ threaded hole “on steering column , on top side of cylinder. And then there’s a weird “ roll pin “ looking hole as well , almost looks like it has a triangular pin in it / hole . Please advise if you have experience with this dilemma. Ha
What’s in the threaded hole ? Could not get an Allen key to fit anything in that hole . Also do I need to even remove the “ roll pin “ , it may not be something that needs to be removed . I just have no idea . And zero info is available on web Tx

You have to turn the key into a position to be able to push in the released pin, it seems to me that the lock cylinder is similar to the Renault 5.

I did know someone who fitted a Peugeot 206 ignition switch barrel which fitted and worked fine apart from the fact that he was never able to get the steering lock to work. We never got to the bottom of that one!
