Iuse ctek comfort plug permantly wired to the battery Same here. I also have an isolator, similar to the one recently shown in Miscellany, with a low amp fuse in parallel. Keeps the car systems constantly powered but if some oik tries to take the car the high starter current blows the fuse.

Yes, I did wonder if disconnecting the power quite often might trigger some glitches, but this is the first one to show, so I will go to France and get it reset when I get back and use the CTEK for a bit and see if it disappears, then reappears when I disconnect power again.
Thanks to all for the suggestions.

Hi
I have a 2022 manual Plus Four. When I took delivery (before the brake safety recall) I had numerous instance of the yellow overseer light. The dealer did some updates or something - all software related, that improved it. Since then I seem to only get the red overseer light, However, aside from the fact that I cannot see the digital speed, I ignore it. It always resets itself after the car has been switched off for a while.
The last time it occured I was on my way to an MOT at the Morgan dealer. As I handed it over I mentioned it to the mechanic and said to him that I just ignore it these days. He smiled and nodded with a wry smile, which I took to mean, that's the right thing to do.
If there was an issue with ignoring it - ON A MANUAL CAR - then without a doubt he would have told me.
That's my experience - hope it helps to put your mind at rest. Oh, and I usually only get it when I'm driving in a very "spirited" manner

I heard today that Brands Hatch Morgan indicated to one owner that tyre pressure can affect the Overseer. I believe both the P4 and P6 are specified as 28 psi, I usually run with 28.5 - 29 psi. Apparently if the pressure drops below 28 psi the Overseer can be triggered (sensors misreading information coming in? And no, this is not April 1st!). So worth checking tyre pressures just in case this is the cause.

When I spoke to the workshop about the overseer. light, they said it lights up if the battery is low. Also important to always lock the car even in the garage, as power is consumed if the car is left unlocked.

Some modern vehicles with intelligent charging systems automatically go into sleep mode, and as perform a staged shutdown based upon time.... Quite how much if any requirement for the locking system might logically play a part in the timed phase or not... I have no idea. My 2012 ICE car automatically locks it`s self after a specific length of time has passed. I guess one of the issues with digital programming is that it can be configured in so many different way and in some cases human logic seems not to apply and it seems we are not supposed to ask why..? That is when they tend to apply the intellectual copyright excuse inhibiting them form educating us mere mortals...?
A bit of a Luddite rant... !

Never knew that about locking the car. You learn something new everyday. Keeping everything charged up certainly keeps the gremlins out on the plus6

I connect the CTEK when in the garage. MY23 Plus Four. Not 100% though as sometimes a couple of days without. Car not locked. No overseer warnings....yet!

As a quick update, I returned from over 1,700 miles from Laon and the Black Forest last week, with the overseer light on and off for the whole trip, but with no ill effects on performance. I also had the brake light going on and going off randomly, mainly when changing directions, but it didn't ever stay on and I couldn't see any obvious faults. I will get it over to our local dealer when I have time and report back for any others who may be having problems.
