I am a former Morgan 4/4 owner but left the flock a couple of years ago for another marque. I have realised the error of my ways and have just put a deposit down on a 2011 Morgan Plus 4 in radiance red with magnolia interior. I found the forum's contribution to my four year ownership of my previous 4/4 to be invaluable and look forward to contributing again and asking the odd (ok many) questions that the Plus 4 will generate. My previous Morgan was a 1974 4/4 but as years go by and the ground gets further away I'm finding it more difficult to "tinker". So I've opted for a more modern car. Time will tell if that was a good choice!

I.m in the same boat, after a long period trying out many other cars, I have come to the conclusion that a car as daft as a Morgan suits me right down to the ground even if they have now gone a bit past spannering myself, but then we do have very good dealers to assist in that arena. Long may they continue to keep producing such wonderful distractions from every day life
Here for a good time not a long time!! Reg

Welcome back.
The days of doing spannering/DIYing happens/will happen to everyone. The main thing is that you are back in a MOG again. I have heard of members who have moved over from manual MOGs to automatic MOGs for the same reason!
