Hi folks,

Over the last three months or so I have had a succession of 20mm long bronze coloured Philips head self tapping screws appear in the drivers footwell. They are usually about 200 mm inn front of the drivers seat and have all appeared at different times. No idea where they are coming from, for that matter neither have the factory.

Anyone else experienced this and if so, where do they come from? Clambering as best I can into the footwell and viewing the underside of the dashboard assembly with a torch yields no useful information. I also wondered if they had been dropping out of the bottom of the seat?

Would love to know where they come from and what they attach as I'm off to Italy in the car next month and don't want something falling apart during my travels.

Cheers,

Andy

PS - would love to attach a picture but this site makes it difficult.

If nothing is loose on a Morgan, it might be down to it not being driven enough.... Types he who has only managed circa 31k miles in mine since 2002....Rattles and squeeks a plenty though as it has traversed some rough roads ...(-:

All that aside, hope you solve your mystery fixings foible...

BTW posting pics is a bit of an initiation test.... I still foul up, though only been at it a few years...Duh..!
