Where can I buy a VERY long spanner to fit the octagonal spinner on my 2025 Plus Four wire wheel? Hopefully one which has an offset bend to clear the fender nicely. Thanks.

Take your spanner to a fabricator and they will step it to provide the offset, then get them to weld a new scaffold pole (mine is 6' ) and strengthening brace to it and sleeve it in padded rubber - I'll post a picture later.

Since Lionel retired there have been no reasonably priced billet adaptors but you could try Old Timer Tools. They also offer two and three eared spinner versions but the price goes up. All require a one inch square drive breaker bar or adapter to half inch.

Also AH Spares offer this complete two eared spinner tool which they claim fits Morgan's.

Try looking at some other club sites. I found the MG Club supplied a spanner for a 2-eared spinner when I had a 4/4. It was made from steel and had a good length offset handle. I sold it after no longer needing it for the next Morgan. I can't remember if there was a plain octagonal version though.
I was very lucky in picking up a "Lionel" version recently from someone here in TM. Makes taking the octagonal spinner off and on so much easier. I have a breaker bar but can slip a steel tube over it to extend it when I get older and weaker! A couple of taps with the basic flat spanner to double check tightening and all ok.

Just checked the MG club and they do sell

Copy this link over to your browser search.

Here's a pdf file of the spanner.

Check with the supplier for the size to fit Morgan spinners. I took the pdf file from the MGB section.

Good price too!

Note the two ear version of MG pressed steel tool requires a fair amount of filing to fit Morgan spinners. It's not too kind to edges of spinner ears either. It is relatively compact though and the one that I carry on car for emergencies.

I had a hexagonal spinner loosen up on my 4/4 which caused a small clonk when applying the brakes. I own a longer(24" leverage) hex spanner, is it enough to just use my strength and body weight on that or do I need to whack it once with my 4lb Thor too? Or extend the 24" lever further using a short piece of scaffold tube?

I use a long bar to tighten then a couple of taps with a hammer for a belt and braces check. I can use an extension tube for a longer fulcrum if needed. It's a thick walled steel tube that just fits over the long socket bar.

I got an offset spinner spanner from MGOC Spares for £62. It was around 40 or 50 cm long, and I doubled the extension and leverage by simply bolting a piece of wood to it.
